Hi, my name is Bud Deslatte and I am a New Orleans native. I opened my first restaurant in my hometown of New Orleans (Feelings Cafe) in 1979 when I decided I was ready for a change of careers away from the corporate world. Following is a list of the restaurants that I have owned; all but the most recent one were sold to employees. While I didn't grow up with much inspiration cooking-wise, it's difficult to grow up in New Orleans and not absorb the amazing, uniquely American cuisine that fills the air with heady aromas.
